Bringing the gracefulness of Aquatic Bodywork to people who can highly benefit from it is very rewarding for us. The nurturing quality, the freedom of movement and the awareness that Aquatic Bodywork encourages, is excellent for children and adults with special needs or physical disabilities.
We work in collaboration with Adele Drake (Drake Music) and Joel Cahen (Wet Sounds) in a charity project called Liquid Vibrations which consists of underwater sound as well as movement and support for children with special needs at schools throughout the UK. The purpose is educational as well as therapeutic and it involves a series of training days, sessions, observation and research documentation. The project has been funded by various organisations such as the Arts Council.
