Water can be a gentle medium
in which we can tune-in
to the natural rhythms of the body
and allow the body to speak
its very primal language.
The key is to let go.
Each session, held in warm body-
neutral water, follows your unique
qualities and natural patterns of
movement. Based on these, we
draw from a range of skills,
to guide you into a state of flow.
In rediscovering your innate fluidity
through motion and stillness,
structure may naturally arise,
giving you an organic understanding
of posture and presence.
The sensations experienced
will provide you with a unique awareness
that you can actively integrate
outside of the water,
in movement and in life.

In a Watsu session, you simply float,
eyes closed, ears immersed,
as skin-temperature water melts
your perception of shape and space.
Muscles, joints and vertebrae
gradually unload by the lack of gravity.
While falling in sync with your biological
rhythms, you are spiralled into a series
of waves that encourage spinal elongation.
Gentle rocking or majestic yoga-like
stretches may follow. Motion and stillness
are combined with acupressure
in infinite variations until your body
In between wakefulness and sleep,
you may drift into undiscovered shores
of inner peace.
Once you have reached a state of calm
through Watsu and your breathing
has slowed, you can explore
new depths of relaxation.
By wearing a nose clip you are gradually
immersed completely under water
as you breathe out and brought up
to the surface to breathe in,
alternating techniques above
and below the water
with the rhythm of your breath.
Water Dance incorporates principles
of Aikido and dance with fluid movements
that resemble the motion of animals,
such as dolphins and snakes,
taking you beyond time and space,
letting you re-discover the primal force within.
*We recommend having experienced
1-2 sessions of Watsu.
biodynamic craniosacral therapy
An extremely gentle therapy based on
Osteopathy, which focuses on the
body’s most subtle motion:
the ‘primary respiration’ based on the
ebb and flow of the cerebrospinal fluids.
By tuning into these wave- like rhythms
through gentle holding of the cranium,
sacrum and other key locations, we allow
the body to unfold and express
its most basic fluid nature.
Through sensitive skills, the practitioner
then encourages greater flow,
allowing the body to re-organise itself
towards optimum health.
In water, this flow is naturally reflected,
allowing the body to reveal its rhythms
with greater expression.
*Can be experienced in water or on the
sound poetry in water
Sound travels faster in water
than in air. Since the body
is made up of more than 60% water,
it engages with sound on a direct
Using ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls
above and below the water
while you float on a water pillow,
a blend of sounds will be performed
that will resound through your fluid body,
giving you a musical massage
that may be more powerful than touch.
*30min session / available as an add-on.
aquatic bodywork for pregnancy
Human beings spend the first nine
months of life in water.
The developing foetus moves freely,
stretching and turning
until the time comes to leave that
comfortable aquatic environment.
From birth, the baby has to learn to
breathe air and cope with gravity
as opposed to buoyancy.
Although adaptation occurs,
lifestyle and stress may slowly
mould the body into a somewhat
more rigid shape.
Pregnancy can be an opportunity
to rediscover your fluid nature. By
carefully following your breath,
you will be guided into a continuum of
movements reawakening innocent
shapes and forms that mimic
your inner motion.
With 360° access to your body,
gentle stretching and massage relieve
all your aches and strains, while you simply
let go and dance alongside your baby
in a mutual fluid environment.
aquatic bodywork for kids
Through a story in movement
we guide the child into an
underwater universe of giant
octopus, water snakes,
dolphins, whales and seaweed.
They become these creatures through
rhythms, movements and shapes.
While simply floating and having fun,
they learn a meditative way
of engaging with the water. We
finish with underwater sound.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
may also be used.
*30 minute session / from 4 years of age
No two sessions are the same. The more the body lets go- the more extraordinary the experience. We recommend a series of sessions in order to experience the full potential of our work. Through an initial assessment, we can design a bespoke program.
The synergy of combining Aquatic Bodywork with other disciplines, such as movement therapies and more structural approaches like Osteopathy, is very effective for restoring natural alignment and fluidity of movement. We work with a range of holistic practitioners in tailoring programs for people with various needs, conditions and goals.
